About The Man
Craig started off his entertaining career at the tender age of 7, but surprisingly not with magic! Craig began as a musician playing the cornet in the local colliery and school brass bands.
At 12 years of age Craig was principal cornet of all the bands he played in and at age 16 he applied to join the British Army and was enlisted into the Army School of Music at Bovington Camp in Dorset.

While at Bovington Craig again shined like a star and attained the Rank of Sgt and Trumpet Major along with the title of Colonels Trumpeter a position he held for 11 years until he left the Forces.

Also at Bovington Craig gained his grade 8 on Trumpet grade 6 on piano and also on Violin.

In 1988 Craig was posted to the Regimental band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards whom he served with for 9 years again as the principal cornet & trumpet player & soloist. In 1993 Craig was asked to Stand in as the principal player for the Royal Dragoon Guards Band, This led to a full time position when the bands
amalgamated which he left in 1996 to become an instructor at Fulford Barracks in York.

During his time in the forces Craig was posted and served in many countries including 2 tours of Germany, This is where Craig gained his magical capabilities to a professional standard, by entertaining the troops and their families on his days off.

Craig decided to leave the forces in 1997 and settled back in the UK to set up as a professional self employed entertainer doing magic. Much more fun than playing in a band!

Tip for Magicians and other Entertainers

Have you made it?

If you manage to make a living, pay your bills and have an enjoyable social life then the answer is yes, you have made it.

Only a few become famous but with fame comes great responsibility, in my opinion Id rather just have the money, too much hassle with all this fame thing and it makes you paranoid, Ive had a stalker so I can offer the voice of experience.

So dont be too eager to get on telly, trust me its over rated! Earn a living and enjoy your life, enjoy doing the job you enjoy as there are hundreds of thousands of people out there that would love to be happy in their work.

And as they say in this trade it beats digging holes for a living

Who else can be paid a good wage for acting the fool for 45 minutes?
Only an entertainer!
